We're back from Anime Weekend Atlanta 2013 and... we had fun!
We were worried that we wouldn't enjoy ourselves, but our friends made everything worthwhile. There were lots of laughs and new inside jokes made. I'm glad I have photos to keep as memories.
I got to meet Vampire-Sacrifice
, which was fantastic! I've known her for the majority of my stay on DeviantART. It's about time we met in person. We got to see our leatherwork that we made for her and her friend again, which was pretty neat. I'm very glad you both like your products.
My only complaint about the con were some of the people during the nighttime hours. I'm so used to MTAC, which is so chill in comparison to AWA. Seeing so many people getting wheeled away to ambulances because they got alcohol poisoning was a little... unnerving. We're debating trading AWA for Dragon*Con, which is a bit upsetting because AWA is J and I's anniversary con, but we can still celebrate our anniversary at home so...
Either way, it was worth the drive, the worrying, and the work we did. Prepare yourselves for cosplay spam in the upcoming days. I'll have a few up today.
I may have some other things to share, as well, but I'll have to wait a while to see. Not saying what because I don't want to jinx anything (yea, I'm superstitious like that).
Our costumes were very well received (yes, even J's dapper outfit). I feel so confident and special thanks to the con attendees and our friends. I can't wait for MTAC next year! For now, we're taking a cosplay break. Work will resume in a few months (maybe two).
Thanks for reading!
